Oregon College of Oriental Medicine

Tour & Reception

Wednesday May 16
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Founded in 1983, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) is a single-purpose professional graduate school that offers two specialized degree programs — Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM). Our mission is to transform health care by educating practitioners to be highly skilled and compassionate, providing exemplary patient care, and engaging in innovative research within a community of service and healing.
A beautiful 15-20 minute walk along Portland’s waterfront from the IRCIMH Marriott Hotel site, OCOM offers participants a sneak peak of our new Old Town Chinatown campus, slated to open in Fall 2012. A tour of the 100 year-old historic building, renovated to LEED Gold standards, will center on its Feng Shui design, and will include highlights about OCOM’s academic, clinical and research programs.   Finger foods and beverages will be served beginning at 6pm, and a qigong demonstration will launch the 6.15pm tour.
Sign up for this site visit will be available on-site at the conference registration desk.  However, space is limited so you are encouraged to RSVP in advance by emailing Gretchen Horton at ghorton@ocom.edu. For your convenience, you can copy and paste this text in your email and provide us with your contact information:
