This workshop will focus on how to teach biostatistical concepts in the context of Evidence Based Practice in the CAM environment, both to faculty physicians and student clinicians. Workshop participants will see examples of storytelling and participate in role play.  Motivation through clinical examples will be emphasized.  Biostatistical concepts will include teaching biostatistical significance versus clinical relevance, confidence intervals, p-values, and a clinically important minimal difference.  These examples will be drawn from teaching Evidence Based Practice to clinicians and clinician students in lecture, small group learning, and journal club formats.
