Case reports are professional narratives that outline the diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes of the medical problems of one or more patients. This information from case reports can be shared for medical, scientific, or educational purposes. Case reports from individual patients provide the framework for early signals of effectiveness and harms. This data— when integrated with the data from other clinical trials, offers meaningful, real-time, data-driven insights about what works (or does not work); and for which patients.
